Marilleva 1400 - 2500 m: Sunny Solaria apartments

Ski area: The main ski area is Folgarida-Marilleva with 62 km slopes between 1300 m und 2180 m, with mainly easy and intermediate runs, but also with the Nera Folgarida black slope with 2 km lengh. The whole area is connected with 61 modern, fast ski lift systems that can transport 31.000 people per hour. The three lift companies can issue three kinds of lift passes: their own pass, the pass for the ski area (Folgarida-Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo) or the Superskirama pass, created a few years ago.

Marilleva itself has 30 km of slopes, 21 lifts and offers great skiing possibilities, particularly for intermediates and beginners. Two large tourist areas, offering an wide range of services, give direct access to the ski runs, the "Val Panciana-Marilleva" Snowpark and the "Biancaneve". On the predominantly blue ski slopes cheerful music will accompany you and increase the holiday feeling, but professionals will also find black slopes, such as the "Nera Folgarida", at 1.8 km in length. Special highlights are the illuminated slopes and the "Orso Bruno", one of the most beautiful runs in the region.

The Town / Entertainment: Marilleva ist set in a quiet, sunny and panoramic location in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and the majestic Ortles Cevedale group – on a snow safe altitude of 1400 m, amidst beautiful fir and pine trees forests. It consists of only a few modern purpose built hotel complexes which are harmoniously integrated into the green high alpine surroundings – all of them are directly at the ski slopes and lifts.

Marilleva is separated in the lower town Marilleva 900 and the higher part Marilleva 1400. As the name already suggests, the towns are located 900 and 1400 meters over sea level. The higher, Marilleva 1400, is located in the middle of a beautiful pine tree forest. The town mainly consists of hotels and entertainment facilities that are carefully positioned in between this natural paradise. Nevertheless the main reason to visit Marilleva are the outstanding skiing and snowboarding possibilities. The hotels are mainly positioned right next to the lifts and offer comfortable transportation.

Non-skiing activities can be enjoyed at the ice skating rink, a tennis hall or the ice stadium in "Folgarida" and in "Mezzana". Or, you can explore the snowy mountain landscape on snow shoes. Recommended are day trips to the somewhat larger resort Malè (approx. 20 km away) and the world-famous ski metropolis Madonna di Campiglio (approx. 35 km away). You can also enjoy traditional culinary food in one of the numerous restaurants.

Marilleva has a recreation and sports resort that is located on the banks of the Walnut River down the valley, which is also the venue of the world canoeing championships. You can find further restaurants, bars, spa-facilities and entertainment possibilities in close by villages such as "Madonna di Campiglo" and "Folgoria".
